Preventive Dentistry

Maintaining regular preventive dental care can help you prevent more serious dental conditions in the future. Our diligent team, led by Dr. Bryan Euzent and Dr. Jessica Ellis, closely monitors your oral health at each appointment and strives to protect your smile.

Comprehensive Dental Exams

Our patients often tell us that they have never experienced such a thorough dental exam!

Your dental exam is one of the most important aspects of your dental care. It provides an opportunity for you to share any concerns, changes in your oral health, or goals for your smile with our dentists.

Our dentists perform a comprehensive exam to recognize small problems early on, to increase the longevity of your teeth and gum health, and complete a bite-force and TMJ analysis.

A comprehensive exam allows us to make the appropriate recommendations for your treatment, including the type of dental cleaning that will best support you.

Professional Dental Cleanings

Our hygienists are experienced and highly skilled in all types of dental cleanings and gum treatments to keep your smile healthy and free of gum disease. Dental cleanings are not one size fits all. We customize your dental cleaning to your specific needs.

You can count on a thorough and gentle experience. Our hygienists have a wealth of knowledge about maintaining healthy gums and will partner with you to keep your breath fresh, your gums healthy, and your smile bright!

Diagnostic Dental X-Rays

Your regular dental x-rays are an important part of preventive dentistry. Dental conditions are not always detectable with a visual exam alone. X-rays can reveal early signs of decay and infection, allowing us to treat them before they become more serious.

We use digital dental x-rays, which are ultra-low in radiation and safe for our patients. Digital dental x-rays emit up to 80 percent less radiation than old-fashioned film x-rays.

Additional Preventive Treatments

We offer additional preventive dental services, based on your needs.

Fluoride treatments – Fluoride makes your enamel more resistant to acids and decay and can combat tooth sensitivity, especially for patients who suffer from gum recession.
Dental sealants – Another way to prevent decay, dental sealants form a barrier between your teeth and the bacteria that cause decay. This is especially important for young patients who enjoy sugary snacks or who have deep grooves in their teeth.
Nightguards – If you clench and grind your teeth, a nightguard might be a great choice since it reduces wear and fractures.
Mouthguards – Mouthguards protect our active patients who enjoy sports but want to protect their teeth from trauma.
